I fly airplanes for a living and chase light for fun. Turns out those aren't as different as they sound.

It started with flights around the world and empty tarmacs at sunrise. I knew I needed to learn how to keep and share the amazing life I get to live.  Somewhere along the way that turned into portraits — and into a second career I didn't plan on loving this much.

I like color. I like a little chaos. I like making people look like the most interesting version of themselves, not the version they think a camera wants.

2018 Air Force Photographer of the Year. A few gallery walls. A lot of black-and-white show wins I'm still proud of.

These days: creative senior portraits, fine art, and whatever bold idea you bring me.
